Rory Coughlan grew up in the outer west of Melbourne, Australia. He studied illustration at NMIT and Graphic Design at The University of Ballarat.

Rory has completed commissions for various clients including Cengage Learning, Newsink and Furlong Park School for Deaf Children .

In his illustrations he works in a variety of mediums including acrylic and gouache paints, coloured pencil, pastels and digital. He can also produce creative design for packaging, business stationery and web design.

He currently resides in Melbournes inner northern suburb of Kensington.
